This Deer Park installation was a clean residential EV charger setup with the switchboard located at the front of the home and the charger installed in the garage.
The client wanted a charger that would work well for daily home charging but also remain suitable once solar was added later. For that reason, the Zappi was selected as the preferred option because it is designed for solar-aware charging and can support CT monitoring / solar-ready configuration.
The installation was completed as a standard residential setup with a short cable run, clear access, dedicated circuit protection, charger commissioning and final testing.

What the Client Needed
The client needed a home EV charging solution for a BYD Seal Premium and wanted the setup to be ready for a future solar system.
A basic charger would have worked for standard charging, but it would not have been the best long-term fit given the customer’s plan to add solar. The better approach was to install a charger that could support a solar-aware setup later, while still operating properly as a normal 7kW home charger from day one.
